Anthem Camarillo is part a family of churches helping people find their way back to God. The Anthem family of churches is united around shared mission, vision, values, and submission to the Lordship of King Jesus. In our cities, we are working to obey Jesus in helping people find their way back to God.
Dive In
Joining a church is much more than joining a social club or gathering. Membership at Anthem Camarillo reflects the biblical command to do life with one another in a way that demonstrates Jesus to this world. In the same way that we saw local churches in Ephesus, Philippi, Thessalonica and many other communities in the early days of the church, we strive to be an ongoing expression of that mission, the universal body of Christ (the Church) expressed in the local gathering.
In joining with the other members at Anthem Camarillo, you are committing yourself to taking responsibility for the other members, using your time, abilities, money, and spiritual gifts to encourage, edify, and equip them for works of service. You are also submitting yourself to the other members, including the elders, being accountable to them in your own pursuit of Jesus and receiving encouragement, edification, and equipping from them.
INTRO TO MEMBERSHIP
If you are interested in learning more about how we do membership at Anthem Camarillo, we invite you to join us for a session of "Intro to Membership" led by our Elders. This session has been designed to inform and encourage conversation around what it looks to belong to a local church, specifically Anthem Camarillo. Our goal for this session is to establish common ground to move forward together.
We will spend our time unpacking and discussing biblical truths about belonging to the body of Christ, and, more specifically, how they apply to the local body of Christ at Anthem Camarillo. You'll hear more about the story that God is writing at Anthem Camarillo, and we'll ask to hear more of your story as well. While there is no obligation to commit to membership on the spot, those who have prayerfully decided to commit to the Anthem Camarillo family will be recommended for membership to the elders of Anthem at the end of this process.
