Anthem Camarillo is part a family of churches helping people find their way back to God. The Anthem family of churches is united around shared mission, vision, values, and submission to the Lordship of King Jesus. Community Bible Reading
Often we feel like there is not enough time to be in the word daily. We want to equip you with tools to daily engage with God in his Word.
Reading Plan
Our goal is to engage with God in his word regularly. There are lots of great Bible reading plans out there, here is one that we recommend. Community Bible Reading plan (CBR), also known as Seeing Jesus Together (SJT). This plan is not so much a sprint through the Bible but a way to create a daily rhythm in God's word. It is structured in such a way that every year you will read the New Testament, and every three years you will read the Old Testament. You will read one chapter in the New Testament and one chapter in the Old Testament Monday through Friday, and on Saturday you will read a Psalm, on Sunday we will engage in the word together as a church family.
Intro to Journaling
Second, there is an introduction to CBR Journaling. We of course ask everyone to engage in the reading, and we are also going to invite you to consider journaling along the way. This document will explain how to journal/pray through pen and how it can be useful in engaging with God in his Word.
